Regional Business Development Director - Solution Selling
About Our Client
Our client is an international marketing solutions provider to the largest retailers in the world. They are well known for their specialized marketing solutions and engagement platforms to help their customers create long-term customers. They are now expanding their team and would like to hire 2 Regional Business Development Directors to look after different markets in APAC.
The Regional Business Development Director will be responsible for the development of new accounts across their given markets in Asia Pacific. You will be the owner of your respective markets and will need to drive a lot of new business opportunities with clients in the market. It is key that you are developing long term relationships with clients. You will be partnering, pitching and presenting to C-level senior executives. This is an entrepreneurial role and you will strategize and set development plans for each market and will ensure that company objectives are being met. You will report into the Managing Director.
The Successful Applicant
The Successful Candidate must have at least 10 years of sales and business development experience. You will need to come from a solution selling background and candidates with marketing solutions experience is advantageous. Candidates need to have a strong understanding of the retail industry, with knowledge especially within FMCG retailers. The successful candidate must be entrepreneurial, determined, strategic and have strong business acumen. This is a hands-on business development role and it is essential that you are a strong hunter. Experience in working with C-level and senior executives are required for this position. You must have regional exposure in Southern China or Southeast Asia.
