The Vice President, Quality is responsible for defining and executing the global quality strategy across all apparel categories and sourcing regions. This role works in close partnership with Sourcing, Merchandising, Product Development, Sustainability, and Supply Chain teams to ensure consistent quality performance from material selection through production, inspection, and shipment.

Job Description

  • Define and deploy the global quality vision and operating model for an apparel trading business
  • Lead and develop the Quality team across multiple regions
  • Establish, maintain, and continuously improve quality standards, systems, and governance frameworks
  • Oversee supplier qualification, factory audits, product testing, inspections, and corrective action programs
  • Act as senior escalation point for major quality issues, customer claims, and risk events
  • Drive a risk‑based, data‑driven approach to quality management and supplier performance
  • Partner with Sustainability and Compliance teams to ensure alignment with social, ethical, and regulatory requirements
  • Promote a strong culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and quality ownership throughout the organisation



The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Textiles, Engineering, Quality, or a related discipline; advanced degree or professional certifications preferred
  • Minimum 15 years of progressive quality leadership experience within apparel trading, sourcing, or branded apparel environments
  • Proven experience leading large, geographically dispersed quality teams
  • Strong technical understanding of apparel materials, manufacturing processes, testing standards, and inspection methodologies
  • Extensive experience with quality assurance, supplier audits, factory compliance, and customer quality requirements
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance speed‑to‑market, cost, and quality
  • Executive presence with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and external partners
  • Fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin and English
