The Quality Director will lead the full quality management function across multiple production regions. This role will drive quality governance, elevate vendor performance, and ensure product standards meet global customer requirements. About Our Client

Our client is a leading global trading group with extensive sourcing, product development, and supply‑chain capabilities across Asia, the Middle East, and emerging production markets. The organisation partners with major international brands and operates a large vendor network supported by strong technical and quality teams. Due to business expansion, they are seeking a high‑calibre Quality Director to oversee regional quality strategy and ensure excellence across their vendor base.

Job Description

  • Lead the regional quality organisation across multiple hubs, ensuring consistent adherence to technical, compliance, and product safety standards.
  • Oversee factory quality systems, audits, performance management, and root‑cause analysis for quality issues.
  • Develop and implement continuous improvement programs to strengthen vendor capabilities and reduce defects, claims, and production risks.
  • Collaborate with Merchandising, PD, Technical, Compliance, and Production teams to ensure seamless execution from development through final inspection.
  • Drive quality metrics, reporting frameworks, corrective action plans, and escalation procedures.
  • Conduct regular vendor visits to monitor performance, support capability‑building, and ensure alignment with corporate expectations.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and development to regional QA teams.

The Successful Applicant

  • 12+ years of quality management experience within apparel sourcing, trading, or manufacturing environments.
  • Strong technical knowledge across woven/knit apparel, finishing, fit, and construction.
  • Proven capability in leading large quality teams and managing multi‑country vendor ecosystems.
  • Solid understanding of global compliance, product safety, and testing standards.
  • Strong problem‑solving, communication, and leadership skills with a hands‑on, solutions‑driven approach.
  • Willingness to travel regionally for vendor performance monitoring and factory engagement.
