Job Description

  • Execute related software tests, and report problems via the defect tracking system;
  • Work closely with software development teams during the software development process;
  • Analyse, research, and track software defects through their resolution;
  • Monitor and report on testing progress and results;
  • Analyse test results and prepare test summary reports; and
  • Create test plan, execute test cases and maintain technical documents.

The Successful Applicant

  • Degree holder in Computer Science / Business Administration or related disciplines;
  • 3 - 5 years of working experience in operations and user acceptance test planning in insurance industry, preferably in core life administration system testing;
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and techniques;
  • Proven track record of using automated testing tools to run tests and reporting on the results.
  • Self-motivated and able to work under tight schedule;
  • Strong logical and systematic mindset, and able to drive new initiatives on process;
  • Team player, responsible, self-motivated and able to accomplish deadlines; and
  • Good command of spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin;
