They are currently looking for a highly motivated and organized individual to join the team as a Project Officer

Job Description

  • Collaborate with the association's leadership team to develop project plans, timelines, and objectives.
  • Coordinate and manage project activities, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
  • Organize and manage various events, including talks, seminars, and forums, aimed at engaging association members and industry professionals.
  • Conduct research and analysis to support the development of innovative projects and initiatives.
  • Assist in the creation and implementation of marketing and communication strategies for project promotion, including event promotion.
  • Engage with association members to gather feedback, identify their needs, and incorporate them into project planning.
  • Collaborate with external stakeholders, partners, and vendors to ensure effective event planning and delivery.
  • Monitor project budgets and resource allocation, ensuring efficient and cost-effective utilization for events.
  • Prepare progress reports, presentations, and other documentation for project updates and evaluations.
  • Support the evaluation and impact assessment of projects and events, identifying areas for improvement and best practices.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to professional associations and event management.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., business administration, project management, communications) or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in project management, preferably within a professional association or similar organization.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and events simultaneously.
  • Excellent event management skills, including experience in organizing talks, seminars, and forums.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
  • Knowledge of marketing and communications strategies, preferably in the context of professional associations and events.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to conduct research, analyze data, and generate insights.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Knowledge of the professional association landscape and industry trends is a plus.
