Hong Kong Permanent HK$25,000 - HK$40,000 per month (HK$300,000 - HK$480,000 per year)

About Our Client

Our client is currently looking for a Project Engineer (1-year renewable contract) with expertise in vendor management, stakeholder management, and technical knowledge in O365, AD, Crestron/Cisco, and networks. Knowledge of IT security concepts would be a plus as well. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in coordinating our office relocation and workplace technologies related projects. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our organization.

Job Description

  • Lead the planning, design, and execution of workplace technology projects, including but not limited to audio/video systems, collaboration tools, access control systems, and smart office solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, facilities, and security/governance teams, to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions that align with the company's goals and objectives
  • Conduct thorough assessments of existing workplace technologies, identify areas for improvement, and develop strategies to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and user experience
  • Oversee vendor deliverables, ensuring adherence to project timelines, quality standards, and budgetary constraints
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest workplace technology trends and industry best practices, and proactively recommend innovative solutions that drive continuous improvement
  • Conduct user training and develop comprehensive documentation to support the successful adoption and utilization of workplace technologies
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and security protocols in all technology implementations

The Successful Applicant

  • Proven experience in vendor and stakeholder management
  • Experience in large office relocation and technology onboarding projects
  • IT Support candidates who have relevant technical knowledge looking to transition to an L3 IT projects role are welcome to apply
  • Solid vendor management experience, with the ability to effectively monitor performance and resolve issues
  • Solid technical knowledge in O365, AD, Crestron, and networks, with the ability to understand and communicate technical concepts
  • Familiarity with workplace technologies, including audio-visual systems, telecommunications, and collaboration tools
  • Foundational knowledge of IT security concepts would be beneficial
  • Excellent organizational, problem solving and multitasking skills in a proactive manner
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
