About Our Client
Our client is an innovative multinational household appliance designer and manufacturing owned by an American equity fund. It is recognized as a global leader in air cooling devices that are environmentally friendly and suitable for outdoor environment.
Effective management of the product development process and product life cycles are essential to the company's commercial success.
The product manager is in charge of product portfolio and roadmap for key markets globally. For each product categories, the product manager owns the product life cycle from initial planning to day-to-day operation. Strong quantitative and qualitative analysis skills are important in order for the product manager to identify market trends and insights. He/she will in turn define the customer journey, product experience, and value propositions for each product.
The product manager will also partner with the company's product design and engineering teams to optimize the customer value according to user experience and industrial design principles.
The Successful Applicant
The candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in product management within the consumer electronics and household appliance categories. Strong analytical skills and being comfortable working with numbers are important as decisions are made with data-driven approaches. The product manager should also be detail-oriented, communicative, and motivated by commercial success.
A variety in work experience is a value-add. Hence, candidates with prior work experience un-related to consumer product management are also welcome to apply.
