About Our Client

Our client is a Leading Footwear brand with strong market presence and steady growth. They are now looking for a PD and Commercialisation Director to oversee their transformation strategies in product support covering Product Development, Sourcing, Costing and Commercialisation.

Job Description

  • Develop and implement transformation strategies to enhance product support infrastructure for T1 and T2 supplier-partners.
  • Drive the strategic development of product category capabilities to ensure long-term sustainability and alignment with organisational goals.
  • Oversee key functions including product testing, technical support, vendor management, and product costing to enhance product quality, optimise processes, and drive cost-saving initiatives.
  • Provide strategic leadership to build product category capabilities in alignment with sourcing and company goals.
  • Identify and embed valuable capabilities in processes, systems, and tools to drive sustainable business practices.
  • Focus on scaling new business approaches across the organisation for long-term viability.
  • Implement strategies to standardise processes and improve operational efficiency in sourcing.
  • Lead technical efforts in product testing, fitting, mold, and bottom support to ensure high product quality, efficient production, and vendor alignment with quality and sustainability objectives.



The Successful Applicant

  • Degree holder in Supply Chain, Engineering or relevant disciplines. MBA is a plus.
  • 10 years+ experience in manufacturing, sourcing, product development and engineering within Footwear industry
  • Strong knowledge in product development, technical specifications and sourcing strategies
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and strategic thinking skills
  • Strong vendor management and leadership skills
