Job Description

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies for contractors, subcontractors, and consultants to meet project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including vendor selection, tendering, negotiation, contract management, and supplier performance evaluation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders, ensuring alignment with company objectives and project requirements.
  • Lead the preparation and evaluation of RFPs/RFQs and ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
  • Monitor market trends and supplier performance to identify cost-saving opportunities and mitigate risks.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other internal stakeholders to ensure procurement aligns with project goals and operational needs.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in procurement processes to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Ensure all procurement activities comply with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards.



The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in procurement, preferably in the building and construction industry, with expertise in managing contractors, subcontractors, and consultants.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across multiple levels of an organization.
  • Demonstrated experience in contract negotiations and supplier relationship management.
  • Strong knowledge of construction contracts (e.g., FIDIC, NEC, or JCT) and procurement best practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering value and minimizing risks.
  • Proficiency in procurement systems and tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems).
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
