Job Description

As a Private Equity VP/Director, your main responsibilities will include:

- Identify potential strategic investment trends and opportunities

- Takes a leadership role in decision making on investments in the equity arena

- Build up and maintain close relationship with fund houses to obtain a pipeline of PE co-investment opportunities

- Perform and manage all the necessary due diligence, financial modeling, valuation analysis, risk assessment of the deal structure

- Conduct industry and company investment research

- Review transaction documents

- Prepare investment proposals for the firm's investment committee

The Successful Applicant

A successful Private Equity VP/Director should have:

- The ideal candidate would be a postgraduate degree holder with minimum 5-8 years of working experience in banking, consulting, or accounting firms

- Other experience covering one or several roles in M&A, Private Equity, equity research, and/or direct investments is also welcomed

- Top-level analytical, financial modeling and research skills. Attention to detail

- Broad deal execution experience across different levels of the capital structure in a variety of transaction structures and geographies

- Significant international experience through work and/or full-time studies

- Superior understanding of how to find structure and close profitable fund investments.

- Strong problem-solving , project management skills and ability to think strategically

- Self-starting personality

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, mature and comfortable in senior-level interactions internally and externally

- Perfect command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (fluent Putonghua is a MUST)

- Candidate with less relevant experience and/or professional tenure will be considered as Investment Manager
