About Our Client
Our Client is a NASDAQ listed leading semiconductor and electronic components company; specialise in providing full scale solution, from analogue, logic design to SoC and custom design products for communications, consumer, industrial and automotive, etc. Their goal is to provide comprehensive portfolio of energy efficient solution to global customers. Due to the market demand, they are looking for a Principal Application Engineer to join their organisation.
Our client is currently recruiting a Principal Application Engineer which aims to verify RF systems and develop hardware & software for evaluation platforms or reference designs. The duties include developing RF hardware and software for bench evaluation and demo systems. You will liaise with colleagues to conduct different projects upon customer's needs. You need to investigate and solve technical issues from production and customer related modules and products. You also need to work in a cross-functional team to bring new wireless products successfully to market. Occasional travel to South China is expected.
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will have demonstrable expertise as being an Electronic Engineering professional in both software and hardware development, strong knowledge in C++, C, C#, Visual Basic, MATLAB and similar programming languages are preferable. A minimum of 7 years' related experience is required, solid experience in IoT, e.g. ZigBee, 3GPP, Z-Wave and other wireless related project will be needed. As a Principal Application Engineer, you must have excellent communication skills in both English, Cantonese and Putonghua.
