The Platform Engineer will play a vital role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust technology platforms for a major public sector organization. This temporary position is based in the Central District and offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to impactful projects in the public sector.

Job Description

  • Support and automate daily operations of the AI Platform and Data Lakehouse.
  • Design, develop, and enhance platform services with high scalability and reliability.
  • Implement monitoring, logging, deployment, and observability solutions.
  • Integrate internal and external systems via APIs and MCPs.
  • Conduct proof-of-concept studies and platform acceptance testing.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies to improve performance and maintainability.
  • Collaborate with architects and product owners in a CI/CD environment.
  • Work closely with AI, data engineering, and business teams on AI solutions.
  • Ensure platform transparency through performance and health reporting.

The Successful Applicant

  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related disciplines.
  • Minimum 4 years' experience in platform or infrastructure engineering.
  • Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, and SQL.
  • Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Helm.
  • Solid CI/CD knowledge using Jenkins, Git, Ansible.
  • Proven delivery experience with AI or data platforms in large enterprises.
  • Good understanding of DataOps and MLOps practices.
  • Cloud experience across AWS, Azure, or AliCloud preferred.
  • Familiarity with monitoring, AI orchestration, or Lakehouse tools is an advantage.
  • Strong communication skills and experience working with global teams.
