About Our Client
Our client is a global leader in diversified technology where their products are applied to a wide range of industries and businesses including automotive, transportation, consumer electronics and enterprise hardware. Due to business expansion, they now seek a seasoned organisation and leadership development expert to drive their global programme on leadership development and succession planning in Asia.
Reporting to the Organisation Development Director at the headquarters, this is a high level strategic role where you will be responsible for planning and implementing all people development and professional training initiatives within the organisation in Asia. Specifically, this will involve strengthening the talent development pipeline, succession planning, leadership development as well as talent reviews and coaching for key executives and leaders. You will be the key representative of the global organisation development programme for Asia and will work closely with the senior management team for the company's long term business plans. In addition, you will build learning tools and programs to develop individual, team and organisational operating capability to further enhance current and future business objectives through selecting or developing an appropriate set of interventions internally or externally.
The Successful Applicant
The successful applicant will possess a relevant degree and have a minimum of 8-10 years experience within L&D and OD. Experience with a sizable multinational company or a consulting firm with regional coverage is preferred. You will have a proven track record in talent development with functional heads and Managing Directors, along with a solid experience in change management. Excellent communication, influential and people skills are highly essential whilst fluency in English and Chinese is a prerequisite.
