They are seeking an experienced Head of Operation to lead their operations, drive compliance, enhance efficiency, and elevate customer satisfaction.

Job Description

  • Compliance Leadership: Oversee the development and enforcement of compliance procedures, ensuring adherence to international trade regulations, industry standards, and internal audits.
  • Operational Efficiency: Design and implement operational strategies, proactively testing and adapting plans to optimize performance, reduce lead times, and enhance service delivery.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Drive initiatives to achieve high customer satisfaction through timely service delivery, vendor collaboration, and effective issue resolution, leveraging a proven track record in client management.
  • Financial Oversight: Co-manage P&L with finance and branch teams, focusing on optimizing lead times, improving accounts receivable processes, and enhancing cash flow management.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with vendors, branch managers, and cross-functional teams to align operations with business goals and client expectations.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline processes, reduce costs, and improve operational metrics, ensuring scalability and resilience.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor operational teams, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Provide strategic insights and regular reports on operational performance, compliance, and financial metrics to the executive team.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of senior leadership experience in freight forwarding or logistics, with a proven track record in operational management.
  • Deep knowledge of global trade compliance, customs regulations, and industry standards
  • Demonstrated success in driving customer satisfaction through timely delivery and effective vendor management.
  • Strong financial acumen, with experience managing P&L, accounts receivable, and cash flow optimization.
  • Expertise in operational efficiency, process improvement, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in Mandarin
