A leading international law firm seeking an Office Manager & HR Lead to manage full HR operations and office administration of Hong Kong Office. This hands‑on role partners closely with Partners; while supervising the HR and admin team, secretaries, and IT staff.Law firm experience is essential.

Job Description

HR Responsibilities

  • Oversee full‑spectrum HR operations, acting as the key advisor to Partners and senior stakeholders locally while working closely with global/regional HR team.
  • Manage employee relations, performance management, compensation, benefits, and exit processes.
  • Oversee end‑to‑end recruitment, manpower planning, succession planning, and agency management.
  • Lead graduate and trainee recruitment, campus engagement, assessment processes, and trainee lifecycle management.
  • Drive annual and mid‑year performance review cycles, moderation meetings, and compensation benchmarking.
  • Manage payroll, tax reporting, benefits administration, and related compliance.
  • Handle visa applications, renewals, secondment administration, and immigration/tax liaison.
  • Oversee Law Society documentation, CPD/RME submissions, and general HR compliance.
  • Support HR reporting, data analysis, and implementation of new HR systems.



Office Operations Responsibilities

  • Lead daily office operations, facilities management, and vendor coordination.
  • Manage procurement, inventory control, office supplies, furniture, and renovation/move projects.
  • Supervise administrative, catering, and cleaning teams to ensure high service standards.
  • Coordinate logistics for internal meetings, client events, business travel, and visiting lawyers.
  • Ensure smooth operational workflows, budgeting oversight, and continuous improvement of office services.

The Successful Applicant

  • 10+ years of HR and office operations experience in international law firms or professional services.
  • Proven leadership experience managing HR/admin teams.
  • Strong knowledge of Hong Kong employment practices; China exposure is a plus.
  • Hands on experience in Law Society regulation matters.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organisational skills.
  • Fluent English and Cantonese; Mandarin preferred.
