As part of their strategic growth, they are seeking a dynamic and commercially driven Trade Lane Manager to expand the Latin America (LATAM) trade lane development.

Job Description

  • Develop and expand the LATAM trade lanes in alignment with company goals.
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities, particularly in ocean freight, to drive trade lane growth.
  • Collaborate with global and regional sales teams to support strategic initiatives and ensure alignment with profitability targets.
  • Conduct joint sales visits with field sales teams to strengthen customer engagement and close deals.
  • Monitor and manage sales leads, opportunities, and pipelines across LATAM regions.
  • Implement competitive pricing strategies and targeted sales campaigns to enhance market share and revenue.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key trade lane customers to ensure high retention and satisfaction.
  • Support overseas offices with pricing, sales, and product development to enhance trade lane performance.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer data in the CRM system.
  • Partner with regional and China procurement teams to support RFQ processes and increase trade volumes.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies and contractual procedures when engaging new agents or partners.
  • Monitor and manage accounts receivable (AR) in accordance with company financial policies, including follow-up with the trade customers and BR Associates.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in freight forwarding, trade lane development, or international sales, with a focus on the USA and/or LATAM markets.
  • Proven track record in business development, sales pipeline management, and customer relationship management.
  • Strong understanding of ocean freight operations and pricing strategies.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English;
  • Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and drive performance.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working independently and collaboratively across regions.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
