Merchandising Manager/ AM - Food (Buying Office)

About Our Client
Our client is looking for an independent individual to manage the global sourcing and provide overall supply chain support.
You will be the key person responsible for both food related procurement . You will monitor supplier's performances and work with both internal and external partner internationally and ensure the best practice for strategic sourcing, including, cost analysis, negotiating pricing, manage supplier relationships and drive for consistent improvement.
The Successful Applicant
To qualify, you will have at least 8 years of experience in food sourcing and be knowledgeable in food distribution operations, experience in the Food industry is a plus. You will have to be highly self-motivated and have a strong interpersonal skills. You will have exceptional communication and negotiation skills in order to work with team members and maintain a well-establish relationships with suppliers. You will have to travel when it is required. Good command in English and Mandarin is essential.
