About Our Client

We are helping a leading property developer to look to identify a marketing talent to lead marketing & partnership efforts for a newly developed tourism site which is set to open in early 2024.

Job Description

The Marketing Manager is responsible for the new tourist attraction's marketing & promotion activities, revenue generation, and partnership development, with the goal to brand the new site as a magnet that draws local, regional and international visitors.

On Marketing side, the Manager will deliver events calendar, promotional materials, and digital/social media campaigns. The Manager is also responsible for data analytics related to customer trends and feedback. Events planning and organization will include those outside of the site to draw attention from a wider range of audience.

In regard to Partnership, the Manager will collaborate with nearby hotel and shopping smalls (which are part of the same group) to create memorable experiences for guests and synergy between the businesses. External partners will include other players in the tourism industry including online travel platforms, travel agencies, hotels, restaurants, museums, and the Hong Kong Tourism Board.

On Business Development, the Manager will develop the revenue generation model which includes ticket sales, pop-up markets, souvenir shops, and others. He/she will also explore alternative revenue streams by creating programs for education and company's team building.

The Successful Applicant

The qualified candidate should have at least 8 years of experience in marketing, sales or business development in relevant industries (i.e. hospitality, travel destination tourism, hotels, shopping mall, etc). The minimum education requirement is a bachelor's degree. The candidate should have excellent command in written and spoken Chinese (including Cantonese) and English. Strong communications and coordination skills are essential.

With support from one of the largest property developers, you will be provided with resources that can support your plan. Experienced junior managers/ assistant managers are welcome to apply to this role, as the position will be supported by a senior advisor in direction setting and key stakeholder management.
