About Our Client
Our client is a globally renowned technology brand, covering B2B and B2C markets. With a strong local presense, their consumer product division is looking for a marketing manager to roll design and execute local marketing activities.
As the marketing manager for the Hong Kong market, you will keep abreast of the latest consumer trends and competitive environment and execute effective marketing campaigns locally. The marketing plans/campaigns should be delivered to enhance brand awareness and consumer preference. In addition, you will be in charge of the point-of-sales materials and retail programs, manage the brand's social media presence, and work with sales and channel teams to develop go-to-market strategies. As the sole contributor in Hong Kong, you will work with external partners such as advertising agencies, digital agencies, event planners, and designers. It is also important that the marketing activities are delivered within budget.
The Successful Applicant
To qualify, you should have at least eight years of experience in marketing or communications. Technical knowledge in consumer electronics products is not required. However, previous experience in retail/consumer marketing is necessary. Highly motivated and independent candidates are highly preferred. This position also requires excellent communication skills as liaisons with cross-functional teams and external partners are frequent.
