Job Description

1. Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement the overall strategic direction for credit card and personal payment services in alignment with the organization's goals and objectives.
- Lead the development and execution of innovative initiatives to enhance the credit card and payment offerings, ensuring they remain competitive and meet customer needs.
- Stay abreast of market trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for growth and performance improvement.

2. Business Development and Growth:
- Drive the growth of credit card and personal payment services, establishing and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including merchants, payment processors, and technology partners.
- Identify new market segments and develop strategies to penetrate and expand the customer base.
- Analyze market data and customer insights to develop new products and services that meet evolving customer demands.

3. Operations and Risk Management:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of credit card and personal payment services, ensuring seamless customer experiences, adherence to regulatory requirements, and efficient processes.
- Implement robust risk management practices to mitigate fraud, credit risks, and operational risks associated with credit card and payment operations.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including technology, compliance, and legal, to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

4. Team Leadership and Development:
- Build and lead a high-performing team, providing guidance, mentoring, and coaching to team members.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning to drive employee engagement and professional growth.
- Set clear performance expectations, conduct regular performance reviews, and identify opportunities for skills development and succession planning.

The Successful Applicant

- Over 15 years of experience in personal banking, with a strong focus on credit card and payment services, particular in the HKHK market.
- Proven track record in driving the growth and profitability of credit card and personal payment businesses.
- In-depth knowledge of credit card and payment industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory environment.
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking abilities, with the capability to translate insights into actionable plans.
- Demonstrated agility and ability to adapt to changing market dynamics and customer preferences.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- Fluent / Native in Cantonese, Mandarin and English. Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
