Job Description

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive data governance framework and strategy, aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements, to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of financial data.
  • Lead the implementation and ongoing management of Ataccama as the primary data governance and data quality management solution within the organization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, compliance, risk management, and business units, to define data governance policies, standards, and procedures that promote data integrity and consistency across the organization.
  • Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to define and maintain data dictionaries, data lineage, and data classification frameworks using Ataccama's metadata management capabilities.
  • Develop and enforce data governance policies and procedures, including data access controls, data usage guidelines, and data privacy regulations, to ensure compliance with internal and external requirements.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Proven 5 years of experience in data governance, data management, and data quality within the financial services industry.
  • Strong expertise in implementing and utilizing Ataccama or similar data management platforms for data governance purposes.
  • In-depth knowledge of data governance frameworks, data quality principles, and regulatory requirements in the financial services sector.
  • Solid understanding of data management concepts, including data modeling, data integration, data lineage, and metadata management.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
