Job Description

  • Oversee the end-to-end logistics processes for materials, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and transportation coordination.
  • Manage relationships with a network of shipping companies, freight forwarders, and logistics providers, negotiating favorable terms and service level agreements.
  • Monitor and analyze real-time tracking data to anticipate and mitigate potential delivery disruptions, implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and key performance indicators to measure and continuously improve logistics performance.
  • Utilize advanced data analytics tools and systems to generate insights, forecast demand, and optimize inventory levels, routing, and transportation modes.
  • Collaborate with production, sales, and customer service teams to ensure seamless coordination and alignment of logistics activities.
  • Identify and evaluate new logistics technologies, systems, and best practices that can enhance efficiency, visibility, and sustainability.
  • Provide regular reports and presentations to management on logistics performance, cost optimization initiatives, and strategic recommendations.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Business, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and Incoterms.
  • Proficiency in using logistics management systems, customs software, and MS Office Suite.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
