Job Description

  • Monitor and manage all aspects of import and export operations, ensuring compliance with international regulations and company policies.
  • Coordinate with freight forwarders to negotiate rates, manage contracts, and ensure timely and efficient shipment of goods.
  • Oversee shipment consolidation processes to optimize costs and improve logistics efficiency.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including procurement and sales, to ensure seamless coordination of logistics activities.
  • Track and analyze shipment data to identify trends, resolve issues, and improve overall logistics performance.
  • Maintain accurate records of shipments, import/export documentation, and compliance reports.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 1+ year of experience in logistics, import/export operations, or freight forwarding.
  • Strong understanding of international trade regulations and shipping documentation.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills to effectively manage relationships with freight forwarders and internal stakeholders.
  • Proficient in logistics management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
