About Our Client

Our client, a leading manufacturing company with a strong regional and international presence, is seeking a skilled and commercially savvy Legal Manager to join their in-house legal team.

Job Description

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of agreements, including procurement, supply chain, distribution, and service contracts.
  • Ensure contracts are legally sound, commercially practical, and aligned with business goals.
  • Provide clear, actionable legal advice to internal stakeholders across business units.
  • Support strategic initiatives and day-to-day operations with legal input.
  • Handle legal matters involving mainland China, including regulatory compliance and contract negotiation
  • Coordinate with external law firms on specialized matters, cross-border issues, and dispute resolution.
  • Monitor legal spend and ensure efficient use of external resources.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations across jurisdictions.
  • Assist in developing internal policies, training, and governance frameworks
  • Liaise with China-based partners, suppliers, and legal advisors.



The Successful Applicant

  • Seasoned inhouse experience in inhouse sector or qualified lawyer from PRC
  • Proven in-house legal experience in China or Hong Kong
  • Exposure to China-related legal matters is a strong advantage.
  • Fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English-both written and spoken.
  • Strong understanding of commercial contract law and corporate governance.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
