Job Description

As a Legal Manager, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and managing legal products to meet business and market needs.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including legal, compliance, and product development.
  • Ensuring all products align with regulatory and compliance standards within the Financial Services industry.
  • Conducting market research to identify opportunities for product enhancement.
  • Leading the development and implementation of legal product strategies.
  • Monitoring product performance and making data-driven decisions for improvements.
  • Providing support and guidance to internal teams regarding legal product-related matters.
  • Maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure successful product delivery.

The Successful Applicant

The successful Legal Manager must demonstrate:

  • Solid prior experience working in asset management firms OR leading law firms in the funds practice
  • Ideally a background in the legal field as either an experienced Paralegal or a Junior Lawyer
  • Native/fluent proficiency in English
  • Strong business-sense and an ability to communicate with senior stakeholders
  • Proactive, reliable and self-motivated
  • Adaptability and willingness to be flexible in a growing business
