Job Description

  • Advise clients on banking and financial services regulations, compliance, and risk management.
  • Draft and negotiate various banking agreements, including loan agreements, credit facilities, and security documents.
  • Assist in the structuring and execution of complex financial transactions.
  • Represent clients in negotiations and disputes related to banking and finance matters.
  • Stay updated on legal developments and regulatory changes affecting the banking industry.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure legal compliance.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda on relevant banking laws and regulations.



The Successful Applicant

  • Qualified lawyer with 4+ PQE
  • Experience in payment law, fintech, banking or commercial law, preferably in-house or at a reputable law firm.
  • Strong understanding of banking, regulations, and compliance issues.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly.
  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams.
