About Our Client

Our client is a leading conglomerate with a diversified portfolio of businesses across Hong Kong and international markets. We are looking for a Legal Counsel with strong litigation experience to join their dynamic legal team. This role will focus on managing complex disputes and litigation matters across the group's property and related businesses.

Job Description

  • Lead and manage litigation and dispute resolution matters across Hong Kong and overseas jurisdictions, with a focus on property, construction, tenancy, and regulatory issues.
  • Advise internal stakeholders on legal risks, dispute strategies, and potential outcomes.
  • Work closely with external counsel to oversee case strategy, pleadings, evidence, and hearings.
  • Draft and review legal documents including settlement agreements, court submissions, and correspondence.
  • Support internal investigations and regulatory inquiries as needed.
  • Collaborate with business units and senior management to proactively manage legal risks and ensure compliance.
  • Monitor legal and regulatory developments across relevant jurisdictions and assess their impact on the business.



The Successful Applicant

  • Qualified lawyer with a law degree and admission to practice in Hong Kong.
  • Minimum 5-8 years of post-qualification experience, with a strong focus on litigation and dispute resolution.
  • Solid experience in commercial dispute, inhouse experience is preferred
  • Exposure to cross-border litigation or international arbitration is a strong advantage.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluent in English and Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin).
