About Our Client

Our client is a market leader in real estate sector, they are currently looking for a Legal Counsel to join our legal team, focusing on litigation and general commercial matters within the real estate sector. This is a strategic role offering exposure to disputes, regulatory issues, and complex commercial transactions across a diverse property portfolio.

Job Description



  • Lead and manage litigation and dispute resolution matters, including property-related claims, tenancy disputes, and construction issues


  • Advise on general commercial contracts, joint ventures, and procurement agreements


  • Support business units with legal risk assessments and strategic input on contentious matters


  • Liaise with external counsel and manage litigation budgets and timelines


  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of legal documents and commercial agreements


  • Monitor regulatory developments and ensure compliance with relevant laws and industry standards


  • Provide training and guidance to internal stakeholders on legal best practices



The Successful Applicant



  • Hong Kong qualified solicitor with a minimum of 6 PQE


  • Solid experience in litigation and dispute resolution, ideally with exposure to real estate or construction-related matters


  • Strong grounding in general commercial law and contract negotiation


  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills


  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment


  • Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin is a plus
