Job Description

  • Enforcement: Handle enforcement actions, including drafting and reviewing enforcement notices, managing enforcement proceedings, and advising on enforcement strategies.
  • Litigation: Manage litigation cases from inception to resolution, including drafting pleadings, conducting legal research, representing the organization in court, and liaising with external counsel.
  • Regulatory Work: Provide legal advice on regulatory matters, ensure compliance with local and international regulations, and assist in the development and implementation of regulatory policies and procedures.
  • Legal Research: Conduct thorough legal research to support enforcement, litigation, and regulatory activities.
  • Documentation: Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and policies.
  • Advisory: Provide legal advice and support to various departments within the organization on enforcement, litigation, and regulatory issues.
  • Compliance: Monitor changes in laws and regulations that may affect the organization and ensure timely compliance.

The Successful Applicant

  • Qualified lawyer in Hong Kong with a minimum of 3 years PQE.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in commercial disputes and regulatory work.
  • Excellent legal research and analytical skills.
  • Strong drafting and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High level of professionalism and integrity.
