About Our Client

Our client id a leading US-based manufacturing business with a global footprint. As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a seasoned legal professional to join our team as General Counsel, focusing on APAC legal and compliance support.

Job Description



  • Provide legal counsel on corporate, commercial, and regulatory matters across APAC.


  • Lead compliance programs, policies, and training to ensure adherence to local and international standards.


  • Advise on cross-border transactions, joint ventures, and partnerships in the region.


  • Manage external counsel relationships and oversee litigation or dispute resolution as needed.


  • Support senior leadership in risk management, governance, and strategic decision-making.


  • Monitor evolving legal and regulatory developments in APAC and proactively advise the business.



The Successful Applicant



  • Qualified lawyer with 10+ PQE.


  • Solid PRC legal experience with a strong understanding of Chinese regulatory frameworks.


  • Proven track record in corporate/commercial law, compliance, and cross-border matters.


  • Experience within manufacturing, industrial, or related sectors preferred.


  • Excellent communication skills in English; Mandarin proficiency highly desirable.


  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with global team
