Our client is part of an emerging industry with big growth plans across APAC over the coming year. They have a stable team in Hong Kong which they are looking to expand to assist with on-going business operations.

Job Description

This role will sit in the legal department and have a reporting line to the General Counsel. The Compliance Manager will be responsible for:

  • Implementing and adapting new policies and procedures
  • Creating compliance frameworks
  • Ensuring regulations are being upheld across the business
  • Assisting with risk management
  • Providing internal compliance training
  • Advising senior Stakeholders on compliance issues
  • Ad hoc project work to support the growing business operations

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate is required to have at least 6 years of relevant experience in managing the compliance function. Candidates with both legal qualifications or compliance qualifications will be considered. Whilst in-house/MNC industry experience will be preferred, candidates coming from large financial institutions or international law firms will also be considered. This role requires fluency in both English and Chinese.
