In this role you will drive significant business impact through your capabilities and contributions and apply deep technical ability and problem-solving methodologies to tackle a diverse array of opportunities that span multiple technologies and applications.Job DescriptionWork alongside existing product teams leveraging AI technologies to enhance the customer experience, drive efficiencies and build innovative automation across the entire database product line.Provide engineering leadership to educate existing teams how they should be using AI effectively, growing our ability to leverage AI technology across the organization.Executes creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problemsDevelops secure high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by othersLeads evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams to drive outcomes-oriented probing of architectural designs, technical credentials, and applicability for use within existing systems and information architectureLeads communities of practice across Software Engineering to drive awareness and use of new and leading-edge technologiesAdds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respectThe Successful ApplicantFormal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experienceDegree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical fieldAdvanced knowledge of software applications and technical processes with considerable in-depth knowledge of application, data, cloud and infrastructure architecture disciplinesAdvanced hands-on skills in Python and or Java programmingA fundamental understanding of AI, ML and LLM concepts, terminology and technology, preferably with hands on experienceA fundamental understanding of databases and database technologiesAbility to tackle design and functionality problems independently.
