The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of infrastructure operations (server, storage, data centre, network), and project management.Tech skills needed: Storage, SAN, VMware, network, cloud (Azure, O365) etc.

Job Description

As a Senior Infra Specialist, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Designing, planning, and implementing system infrastructure
  • Managing and monitoring all installed systems and infrastructure
  • Ensuring the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
  • Maintaining security, backup, and redundancy strategies
  • Collaborating with the IT team to maintain software applications
  • Providing 2nd and 3rd level support
  • Liaising with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Infra Specialist should have:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
  • Proven working experience in providing infra operation support as well as leading regional IT infrastructure related projects
  • Technically solid in virtualization, storage (SAN), VMware, network engineering, cloud (o365) etc.
  • Solid experience in the administration and performance tuning of application stacks
  • Experience with virtualization and containerization
  • Experience with monitoring systems
  • Solid networking knowledge
  • Must speak fluent English and Cantonese
