About Our Client
Our client is a sizable and reowned financial services company looking to upgrade their L&D and leadership development functions. An opportunity has arisen for a seasoned HR expert to join their company in Hong Kong.
Reporting to the Head of Human Resources, you will lead the Learning & Development team to identify, formulate and execute the L&D strategies for the group. You will work closely with BU heads to understand their needs and translate business strategies to talent development needs as well as providing practical, commercial and timely solutions to the organisation. You will identify and grow talent to ensure leadership continuity for management succession planning, whilst driving organisational capabilities and enhance the people competency level to support business growth. In addition, you will keep abreast of the existing and new requirements from the HKMA and proactively develop and deliver relevant training to the business.
The Successful Applicant
Degree qualified, you will have a minimum of 12-15 years of international learning and development experience with at least 5 years in a management capacity. You will be able to demonstrate a strong track record in delivering L&D, leadership development and succession planning strategies for sizable financial services or multinational companies. You will possess a high level of business acumen and strong commercial sense, along with the ability to work with senior level management across the business. Proficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese is required, excellent presentation and influencing skills will be key to the role.
