This role will focus on overseeing IT security projects, ensuring effective management processes, and guaranteeing service levels from external consultants and providers. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in minimizing business impacts caused by incidents or production system issues while driving projects to successful completion.

Job Description

  • Manage and deliver IT security projects to meet objectives and timelines
  • Lead planning, implementation, and progress tracking for system, network, and cloud infrastructure services.
  • Monitor deadlines and adapt workflows to address changes in project scope.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and service providers.
  • Prepare and maintain up-to-date project documentation, including service records and transition plans for ongoing support (BAU).
  • Evaluate technologies and products, providing detailed reports and recommendations.
  • Handle procurement tasks, such as drafting tender documents, conducting evaluations, and preparing purchasing recommendations.
  • Develop risk management strategies and mitigation plans for projects.
  • Conduct thorough project reviews and deliver detailed reports to executive teams.
  • Enhance processes and recommend improvements to optimize delivery efficiency.
  • Offer technical assistance for related services as needed.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience). Candidates with relevant advantageous experience will also be considered.
  • Minimum of 8 years of IT experience, including expertise in delivering comprehensive solutions and quality services (less experienced candidates may be considered for Assistant Manager roles).
  • Hands-on involvement with IT security processes such as stress testing, risk assessments, security audits, privacy impact evaluations, penetration testing, mobile app security evaluations, source code reviews, API scans, and vulnerability testing.
  • Strong stakeholder management abilities across all levels, internally and externally.
  • Service-oriented with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Fluency in professional-level business Chinese and English, both written and spoken.
  • Immediate availability is highly preferred.
