Job Description

  • Understand and interpret relevant SFC or HKMA regulations and guidelines to ensure compliance in IT systems and processes.
  • Perform IT control testing, including walkthroughs, sample testing, and data analysis, to evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of controls.
  • Assess and analyze IT risks and compliance within the organization.
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies, policies, and procedures.
  • Identify gaps in the existing risk management framework and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure the implementation of effective risk mitigation measures.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and regulatory requirements related to IT risk management and compliance.
  • Provide UAT testing and IT documentation

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of SFC or HKMA regulations and guidelines, particularly in relation to IT risk assurance.
  • Knowledge of PowerBI or other data visualization tools is preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify risks, evaluate controls, and provide practical recommendations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Professional certifications such as CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) or CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) are a plus.
