Job Description

As an IT Project Manager, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Manage and maintain project artefacts including project plans, schedules, status reports, risk and issue logs, change records, and meeting documentation.
  • Develop clear and concise materials for project forums, management updates, and steering committee meetings.
  • Ensure project documentation and governance requirements are consistently met and maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Plan and facilitate project meetings, workshops, and working sessions across business, technology, and vendor teams.
  • Monitor action items, deliverables, and dependencies, proactively following up to ensure commitments are met.
  • Act as a central point of coordination to ensure consistent communication, alignment, and transparency across stakeholders.
  • Track delivery progress against approved schedules, milestones, and scope baselines.
  • Prepare and maintain project dashboards, KPIs, and periodic status reports for management and governance bodies.
  • Identify emerging risks, issues, or delivery concerns and escalate them appropriately with supporting analysis and recommendations.
  • Coordinate onboarding and ongoing engagement of vendor and external resources.
  • Oversee alignment of vendor deliverables with project plans and timelines.
  • Support resource planning, allocation, and scheduling to enable efficient project execution.
  • Maintain and manage risk and issue registers, supporting impact assessment, mitigation planning, and resolution tracking.
  • Support structured change control by documenting change requests, assessing impacts, and tracking approved changes through to implementation.
  • Monitor project costs, support budget tracking, and contribute to financial reporting and forecasting activities.

The Successful Applicant

A successful IT Project Manager should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Project Manager, delivering projects in complex, multi‑stakeholder environments.
  • Strong planning, organization, and execution skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Effective communicator with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at multiple levels.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and drive delivery in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Hands‑on experience with project and collaboration tools (e.g. MS Project, Jira, Confluence, Copilot).
  • Practical experience working with Agile, Hybrid delivery approaches.
  • Solid understanding of project governance, risk, issue, and change management processes.
