About Our Client

The role focuses on managing cloud migration projects from Azure to Alibaba Cloud, ensuring successful execution within defined timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Responsibilities include identifying new business opportunities, preparing project proposals, resolving impediments, and providing technical guidance on software improvements.

It requires strong project management skills, an entrepreneurial mindset, and familiarity with Alibaba and Azure Cloud technologies. The ideal candidate should have at least 8 years of relevant experience, certified cloud knowledge, and the ability to handle multi-faceted responsibilities in a dynamic, agile environment.

Job Description

  • Deliver projects on time, within budget, and at the highest quality, ensuring they meet expected benefits.
  • Identify new business opportunities, prepare project proposals, and secure senior management approval through board presentations.
  • Evaluate and recommend technologies, applications, and solutions that align with project objectives.
  • Remove project roadblocks and manage evolving scope through collaboration and negotiation with stakeholders.
  • Provide regular updates and detailed specifications to ensure project deliverables meet business requirements and quality standards.
  • Offer technical insights and recommend best practices to optimize application software.
  • Contribute to other initiatives and tasks as directed by management.

The Successful Applicant

  • A bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in business management, IT, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of professional experience, ideally in consulting, business operations, or project management within the technology sector.
  • Hands-on expertise in cloud technologies, particularly Alibaba Cloud and Azure Cloud, with certifications being a plus.
  • Proven track record in managing IT application re-platforming and cloud adoption projects.
  • Familiarity with SDLC processes and deliverables is advantageous.
  • A problem-solving mindset with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit to drive growth, develop strategies, and create innovative solutions.
  • A self-starter attitude, excelling in fast-paced and agile environments.
