Job Description

  • Lead technology projects across Asia, supporting functions such as Actuarial, Finance, Treasury, Compliance, Risk, Marketing, HR, and others. Define project scope, goals, and deliverables aligned with business objectives.
  • Manage and coordinate cross‑functional teams of 15+ members, developing detailed project plans, schedules, and resource strategies to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Engage with business users to gather high‑level requirements, manage stakeholder and sponsor expectations, and maintain transparent communication on scope, cost, timeline, and overall delivery progress.
  • Prepare and oversee all project documentation, including quality plans, communication plans, and release roadmaps, while ensuring compliance with internal standards.
  • Lead regular project status updates and Steering Committee meetings with senior stakeholders.
  • Oversee multiple workstreams and country teams, managing the full SDLC process to ensure successful end‑to‑end delivery.
  • Prepare and review Statements of Work (SOW), including budget considerations, and negotiate or manage vendor deliverables.
  • Collaborate with PMO teams to ensure accurate reporting of project financials and work closely with global project leads on global initiatives.
  • Monitor project progress, risks, and issues; drive continuous improvement in project execution and overall team performance.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to team members to support their professional development.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related discipline.
  • 15+ years of project management experience, preferably within IT or software development environments.
  • Proven track record managing large-scale projects and leading sizeable or virtual teams.
  • Strong proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, MS Project, and Excel.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum certifications are a strong plus.
  • Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities; capable of thriving in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
  • Experience working with international or distributed teams is preferred.
