Job Description

  • Oversee project delivery activities including planning, execution, and technical review.
  • Manage project budgets and allocate hardware, software, and manpower resources effectively.
  • Coordinate resource turnover, replacement, and ensure project timelines and costs remain on track.
  • Engage in pre‑sales and post‑sales support, gathering user requirements and participating in technical discussions.
  • Prepare high‑level solution designs, proposals, cost estimations, timelines, and resource plans.
  • Lead vendor and subcontractor coordination to ensure smooth implementation of assigned projects.
  • Maintain and update internal systems, including creation, modification, and removal of portal entries.
  • Produce key project documentation such as project plans, SOWs, milestone schedules, progress updates, and meeting minutes.
  • Provide technical advisory and troubleshooting for UNIX/Linux/Windows platforms within BAU and delegated client projects.

The Successful Applicant

  • Degree holder in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or similar fields.
  • Over 10 years of experience in the IT field, preferably in operations or project‑based environments.
  • Strong understanding of system release and deployment processes is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders of different levels.
  • Highly organized, self‑driven, and capable of working independently.
  • Familiar with end‑to‑end IT project lifecycle, vendor engagement, and contract handling.
  • Project management certification is a plus.
  • Proficient in Cantonese, English, and Mandarin.
  • Strong team player with analytical and problem‑solving abilities; candidates with less experience may be considered for Assistant Operations Manager.
