About Our Client

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure and Network Architect to design and implement robust and scalable network and infrastructure solutions. This role will involve assessing current systems, identifying improvements, and ensuring that our infrastructure aligns with business goals and industry best practices.

Job Description

  • Develop and maintain the architecture for the organization's infrastructure and network systems, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
  • Design and implement network solutions, including LAN, WAN, VPN, and cloud networking, to meet the needs of the business.
  • Oversee the planning, deployment, and management of physical and virtual infrastructure components (servers, storage, and backup solutions).
  • Implement monitoring solutions to ensure network and infrastructure performance, availability, and security, and respond to incidents as they arise.
  • Work closely with IT teams, project managers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications and solutions.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for network diagrams, infrastructure configurations, and standard operating procedures.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices, recommending improvements and innovations for continuous improvement.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree is a plus.
  • 7+ years of experience in network architecture and infrastructure design, with a proven track record in a similar role.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Ideal candidate should have large scale network revamp or data centre re-design experience
    • IT security management knowledge and experience is required as well
    • Proficiency in zero-trust network architect, SD-WAN, high vulnerability setup, disaster recovery vulnerability management and security practices.
    • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
  • Relevant certifications such as CCIE, CCNP, CISSP, or cloud architecture certifications are highly desirable.
  • Candidate must speak and read both Chinese and English.
