About Our Client

Our client is a prominent financial institution based in Hong Kong. The bank is dedicated to providing a comprehensive range of banking and financial services to individuals, businesses, and corporate clients.

They are seeking a Business Analyst to support key business lines, including Investment (Stock/Fund/Bond) and Private Banking. In this role, you will analyze business requirements, facilitate IT solutions, and coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure successful project implementation. You may also act as the IT Project Manager, overseeing projects from initiation to rollout. The ideal candidate will have a background in IT or a related field, with 3 to 10 years of experience in project management and business analysis, preferably in the banking or finance sector. Strong communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills are essential, along with proficiency in both English and Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese).

Job Description

  • Business Requirement Analysis: Understand and evaluate business needs to identify effective solutions.
  • IT Solution Facilitation: Collaborate with stakeholders to derive IT solutions and prepare necessary documentation.
  • Project Coordination: Work with multiple parties to ensure project objectives are met efficiently.
  • User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Support: Assist in UAT processes and problem-solving to enhance system functionality.
  • Project Management: May take on the role of IT Project Manager, overseeing projects from inception to deployment.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate closely with business users, technical teams (both internal and external), regulatory bodies, and senior management to ensure successful project execution.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Contribute to the broader project group by sharing your domain expertise and insights.



The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field.
  • 3 to 10 years of solid experience in project management and business analysis, preferably within the banking or finance sector.
  • Proven experience in driving digital transformation initiatives with distributed teams across various locations.
  • Strong analytical, communication, presentation, and time-management skills.
  • Proficient in stakeholder and vendor management.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure.
  • Fluent in English and Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese).
