Our client is a large organization with a substantial presence in the Central District of Hong Kong. They are the Asset Management arm of a prestige Hong Kong based family office.

Job Description

  • Conduct Investment Analysis and Due Diligence
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including cash flow modelling, valuation, and scenario analysis for real estate and infrastructure investments.
  • Perform due diligence on potential investment opportunities, including market research, asset valuation, and risk assessment.
  • Prepare investment memos and presentations for senior management and investment committees.
  • Market Research and Trends Monitoring - Monitor global and regional real estate and infrastructure markets, identifying emerging trends, opportunities, and risks.
  • Analyse macroeconomic factors, regulatory changes, and industry developments that may impact investment decisions.
  • Maintain a database of market data, benchmarks, and comparable transactions.
  • Portfolio Management Support: Assist in the management of existing real estate and infrastructure investments, including performance monitoring and reporting.
  • Collaborate with asset managers and external partners to optimize portfolio performance.
  • Prepare regular updates and reports on portfolio performance for internal stakeholders.
  • Deal Sourcing and Execution: Support the sourcing of new investment opportunities through networking, market research, and collaboration with external advisors.
  • Assist in the structuring, negotiation, and execution of investment transactions.
  • Coordinate with legal, tax, and other advisors to ensure smooth deal execution.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:
  • Work closely with other team members, including finance, legal, and operations, to support investment activities.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to strategic discussions on portfolio allocation and investment strategy

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, or a related field.
  • CFA, MBA, or other relevant professional qualifications are a plus.
  • Solid experience in investment analysis, preferably within private equity, asset management or investment banking.
  • Strong understanding of real estate and infrastructure asset classes, including valuation methodologies and market dynamics.
  • Experience in financial modelling and investment due diligence is essential.
  • Proficiency in financial modelling and valuation techniques (Excel, Argus, or other relevant tools).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Native in Cantonese , Fluency in English is required

  • Strong interest in real estate, energy and infrastructure investments.
