About Our Client
Our client is an award winning, international leader specializing in magnetic detection systems. Their innovative product range has multiple applications and has been globally implemented to improve patient and staff safety in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) facilities, find smuggled contraband items in correctional facilities, and provide enhanced physical data security for governments and commercial organisations. They are currently further investing and expanding their business in Asia Pacific and are looking for an entrepreneurial candidate to join them in further developing the healthcare sector.
Based in Hong Kong, the International Sales Manager will take on the key responsibility for the MRI Safety markets in Asia Pacific region. Reporting to the SVP, Sales and Marketing, you will drive the further development of this healthcare sector by ensuring effective and strong relationships with all business partners in each market. You will need to evaluate and manage distributors, working closely with your partners on reaching sales objectives. This role will also include new business development, identifying new distributors and evaluating new partners. You will be responsible for developing strategies and a sales business plan to capture opportunities in the market, driving sustainable business growth and successfully delivering commercial objectives set out by the company. This role will require you to build strong relationships with medical KOLs and regulatory bodies in Asia Pacific. Participating in trade exhibitions and conferences will be part of your role's responsibilities. Frequent travel will be required for this position.
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate must have a minimum of 7 years of successful experience in a sales or business
development role. This position requires a self-starter who is driven and passionate. Excellent oral and written communication skills are required for this position. The successful candidate must have experience in distributor management. Regional exposure is not required but will be advantageous. Candidates are required to have experience in B2B capital equipment markets and experience working with hospitals. This is an outstanding opportunity for an ambitious Sales professional with a strong business and strategic mindset. Fluency in English and Mandarin is required for the position.
