Job Description

  • Support the elicitation, analysis, and documentation of business requirements for the development and implementation of a new core policy administration system and customer portal.
  • Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure system functionalities comply with defined business requirements and specifications.
  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of Operations Manuals, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), process maps, workflows, and operational guidelines.
  • Develop, update, and maintain Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) to ensure clear project scope, alignment, and traceability.
  • Liaise with business users, IT teams, and other stakeholders to gather feedback, clarify requirements, and provide updates on project progress.
  • Support project planning and coordination activities to ensure milestones, timelines, and deliverables are achieved.
  • Contribute to the Requests for Proposals (RFP) process by collaborating with cross-functional teams to prepare comprehensive and accurate submissions.
  • Identify business needs, gaps, and opportunities for process improvement, automation, and efficiency enhancement.
  • Review IT deliverables, including Functional Specifications and design documents, to ensure alignment with user and business requirements.
  • Provide post-implementation support to end users, including issue resolution, clarification of processes, and continuous improvement initiatives.

The Successful Applicant

  • University degree in Business Administration, Statistics, Quantitative Analysis, or a related discipline.
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience in business analysis and/or the life insurance industry.
  • Demonstrated experience in process optimization, system enhancement, or automation initiatives.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at different levels.
  • Solid analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
  • Well-organized, proactive, self-motivated, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and Microsoft Power Platform (e.g., Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate).
