Job Description

Responsibilities : 1 Strategic Planning and Resource Optimization:
◦ Develop and execute strategic plans to drive the company's insurance business growth in Hong Kong.
◦ Efficiently combine and allocate resources, including budget, technology, and personnel, to maximize sales and operational success.
◦ Build a scalable framework to support rapid expansion in a competitive Insurtech market.
2 Understanding Hong Kong Market Regulations:
◦ Maintain in-depth knowledge of Hong Kong's insurance regulations, particularly those enforced by the Insurance Authority (IA).
◦ Ensure compliance with licensing requirements and regulatory standards for insurance operations.
◦ Act as the Responsible Officer (RO) to oversee adherence to local laws and mitigate regulatory risks.
3 Research and Support HQ in Business Strategy Development:
◦ Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and opportunities in Hong Kong's insurance and Insurtech sectors.
◦ Provide actionable insights to the Beijing headquarters to inform the development of a robust, market-specific business strategy.
◦ Collaborate with HQ to align Hong Kong operations with the company's global objectives.
4 Lead Business Negotiations in Hong Kong:
◦ Spearhead negotiations with local partners, clients, and stakeholders to secure business deals and partnerships.
