Job Description

  • Act as Senior Business Analyst and Production Support lead for Healthbuzz and other operational systems; serve as Product Owner in assigned Scrum teams.
  • Own and manage complex incidents and production defects, assess business impact, design effective workarounds, and drive resolution to minimize operational disruption.
  • Lead the analysis, proposal and implementation of remedial actions, including negotiation of solution design, delivery approach, and implementation timelines with IT and business stakeholders.
  • Ensure strong quality control and governance on fixes, including RCA, UTR review, UAT, BVT, IVT and post‑implementation validation.
  • Plan and coordinate Month‑End and Year‑End arrangements, including online/offline scheduling, ATP process adjustments, and production readiness.
  • Oversee and support regulatory and compliance-related initiatives, such as Levy, CRS, FATCA, data retention, and regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Apply in‑depth insurance domain knowledge to advise stakeholders, identify improvement opportunities, and ensure alignment with business strategy and best practices.
  • Proactively engage stakeholders to understand business needs, communicate system status, risks, and decisions, and facilitate meetings and presentations to audiences at different seniority levels.
  • Lead and manage multiple initiatives or workstreams, including scope control, prioritization, delivery tracking, risk management, and escalation where required.
  • Provide functional leadership and mentoring to junior team members; drive accountability, collaboration, and high performance within the team.
  • Partner with business users and technical teams to analyze, design, and improve complex business processes, with a focus on operational efficiency, data quality, and long‑term sustainability.
  • Support end‑to‑end implementation of business solutions by building strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.

The Successful Applicant

  • University degree in Business Administration, Statistics, Quantitative Analysis, or related disciplines.
  • 4+ years of solid experience in Business Analysis, Production Support, and/or project delivery roles, preferably within insurance or financial services.
  • Proven experience handling incident management, production support and operational systems in a complex environment.
  • Experience working in Agile / Scrum teams, preferably with Product Owner exposure.
  • Sound knowledge of life insurance operations, processes, and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong experience in project management or workstream leadership.
  • Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non‑technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated capability in change management, conflict resolution, and influencing stakeholders.
  • Well organized, self‑motivated, and able to work independently while contributing effectively as a team leader.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; strong Excel and presentation skills with solid financial and business analysis capability.
