About Our Client
Our client is a Fortune 500 company, running in financial services industry and has been around for over 100 years with strong footprints around the world
Job Description
- Maintain status reporting of workstream across the Asia region at level of detail appropriate for audience - e.g. high-level visuals for Exec Steering Committee to lower granularity reporting for working groups - including plans, design decisions, issues/risks, etc
- Be able to clearly articulate the system/data architecture for each BU and how each of the systems/data warehouses/tools/ledger play a role in delivering IFRS 17/9 results; maintain documentation to support this
- Be able to clearly articulate for the above, the status of upgrades, implementation, etc for each, timeline of delivery, and how it enables the BU to achieve alignment with overall masterplan milestones; maintain documentation to support this
- Document issues/risks for delivery and develop mitigation plans/proposals to keep BUs on-track for review and approval by management
- Maintain documentation on key design decisions by each BU, but also proactively play 'advisory' role on pros/cons/recommendation on these decisions and where appropriate drive towards consistent decision across BUs (e.g. approach to parallel ledger and how this will be achieved)
- Pro-actively identify opportunities to align with guiding principles - synergy, commonality, expertise, and reusability… examples include use of common vendor(s) for delivery, development of core test/use cases that are sharable, presentation of key design decisions and options
- Other PMO and change management artefacts as needed
The Successful Applicant
- A proven track-record of delivery on complex programmes in an international team environment
- Possession of a fundamental skill set of framing problem statements to develop a plan to resolve and make progress. Experience with applying that skill set to IT, insurance industry, and IFRS/accounting standards are 'nice to have.' Minimum requirement is a strong desire to learn subject matter in those areas
- 10-15 years experience, but fewer years accepted if combined with top performance
- High proficiency in English - written and oral
