About Our Client
Our client is a well-established and renowned Hong Kong organisation with extensive history and business operations.
Reporting to the Head of Human Resources, the selected Human Resources Manager will act as a key member of the management team, providing leadership and direction for the HR function to meet the business goals and needs for the manufacturing plant. You will lead and manage a high performing HR team, to oversee the full spectrum of HR administrative and operational services of the manufacturing operation, including but not limited to recruitment, compensation and benefits, payroll administration, performance management, as well as safety and employee relations.
This role would require you to be both strategic and operational, and be a true brand ambassador of the company and leadership team. You will be involved in various change management projects, and continue to develop a strong and cohesive working environment to ensure continuous productivity and strong employee engagement.
The Successful Applicant
To qualify, you must be a degree educated human resource professional with at least 10 years HR generalist experience in providing both strategic and operational human resources management. Excellent knowledge of Hong Kong employment law and HR best practices is a must.
You will be comfortable working in a fast paced environment to lead a team and manage a range of projects while maintaining a practical and hands-on approach. Fluency in English and Chinese is a prerequisite. You must demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills, combined with strong negotiation and conflict resolution ability. You must have strong influencing skills to build key strategic relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
