About Our Client
Our client is an aggressively growing company with multiple business streams in China including property development, hospitality, food & beverages and financial services. Their headquarters is based in Hong Kong and they are now hiring a HR Director to head up the HR function across all business units. Company will go IPO within these 2 years and those with relevant experience going through the IPO process will be highly sought after.
Reporting to the CEO, you will be a key member of the management team providing leadership and direction to the HR function in line with the business goals and needs. You will lead and manage the individual HR teams across all businesses in China and oversee the full spectrum of HR services including recruitment, C&B, policy and procedures, performance management, talent management, HRIS as well as improving the job grading system. You will act as a true HR business partner to review and further develop existing human resources policies and practices as well as implement new initiatives in the Greater China region. The company is aggressively expanding their business in financial services and is going through the IPO process, hence candidates with relevant experience will be highly sought after. This is a strategic management position, and you will be required to be flexible with travelling to different sites depending on client's needs. As a key part of the management team, you may also need to attend various events and functions along with the CEO and COO as well.
The Successful Applicant
To qualify, you will be degree qualified in human resources with a proven track record in providing both strategic and operational human resources management from a company with extensive China and overseas business operation. You will be comfortable working in a fast paced environment where you will be required to lead and manage a range of strategic projects while maintaining a practical and hands-on approach. Fluency in Cantonese with a good level of spoken Mandarin and written Chinese is a prerequisite. You will have a flexible and open mindset, and have an interest in being involved in a various range of business projects and company events. Travelling across the Greater China region will be required and occasionally to other countries abroad. Candidates with experience going through IPO with good recruitment expertise in hiring financial services/ finance candidates preferred.
